Eligibility Criteria to Pursue Law in India
In India, law course can be pursued through two main academic routes:

1. 5-Year Integrated Law Program (After Class 12)
Courses Available: BA LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com LL.B., B.Sc. LL.B.
Eligibility: Completion of Class 12 (any stream) with at least 45%–50% marks.
Entrance Exams: CLAT, AILET, MHCET, SLAT, CUET-UG, and other state/university-level tests.

2. 3-Year LL.B. Program (After Graduation)

Designed for students who decide to pursue law after completing a bachelor’s degree.
Eligibility: A graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45%–50% marks.

Further Studies – LL.M. (Master of Laws)
Duration: 1 or 2 years (postgraduate level).
Specializations: Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Human Rights, and more.
